While we know that Huawei is a one of manufacturer that makes mid-end smartphones, but Huawei Honor is a device that is pretty good and strong from that company, Huawei said that Huawei Honor it’s a very good phone more than we know.

After become hot rumors and leaked specs, Huawei has officially unveiled the Huawei Honor, its latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread smartphone that features a 16M 16:9 true color high-definition (HD) 4-inch FWVGA capacitive touch screen, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory with microSD slot (supports cards up to 32 GB), an 8 MP rear-facing camera, a 2 MP front-facing camera and the last but not least, this phones offers hefty 1,900 mAh battery.

Good battery life is an important factor for the user because with good battery life, user want to hold their smartphone for whole day without worrying for looking for power source on the trip or outside the building. Huawei claims that Huawei Honor will give up to three day battery life, yess 3 day is good enough especially for Android device which has 4-inch screen size with a 1.4 GHz processor, an 8-megapixel HDR2-enabled camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Honor is a powerhouse in a sleek 10.9 mm-thin body and weighs just 140g. We are know most Android user always lack of power when they using Android phone for whole day.

But, I’m sure about that battery life is depend on user, how do they using apps and how often they connect to the network using WiFi or mobile data. We assume only those who use the device fairly lightly will get 3 days of juice. Heavy users should not expect such longevity. It’s safe to assume heavy users could definitely get through the day easily with one charge, though. If Huawei is going to make such a claim, the battery life must be substantially superior than average.

The Huawei Honor is comes with the bands GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and the WCDMA/HSPA+ 900/AWS/2100. This means the device is compatible with America’s T-Mobile 3g network. So if the device happens to not come around the US, you might be able to import it. Release is scheduled to come during Q4 of 2011 in China, Russia and the Middle East. For the Classic Black version, that is. If you want to add some color to your life, other colors are “to follow” soon afterwards.

“Huawei Honor encapsulates the Huawei brand – it features simple-to-use, advanced technology that allows people to share and connect easily. Honor provides a package of features that elevates the smartphone user experience, including an ultra-long battery life, so critical to the performance of smartphones but yet is often downplayed,” said Victor Xu, chief marketing officer of Huawei Device. “Consumers now have a high-performing smartphone that lets them communicate, connect, entertain and share content for an extended period of time without compromising on looks, technology or style.”
