China is the one of larger Android user in Asia, Umeng is the Chinese research firm has been studying and make statistic about Android user in China and learn whose the popular phone maker for Chinese market.

According to Umeng, Samsung is become the dominate Android phones manufacturer in China, Samsung is currently with 23.8%, followed by HTC at 18.5 percent, Motorola with 8 percent, and the locals manufacturer from ZTE and Huawei now count at 7.4 percent. The other category represents just 6.5 percent of the market.

Umeng counted device activations with at least one application session among the 40,000 apps showed an 87 percent increase in active Android users from April to June. That compares to a 33 percent increase on the Google Play Store during the second quarter. Umeng also registered a 42 percent increase in iOS active users from April to June.

Umeng’s also has statistic of increasing Androi user in China, they found of 87percent smartphone user using Android in second quarter, while iOS user is only 42percent market share. I think this number is still growing for the next couple of months.
