Court involving between Apple with patent infringement related Samsung is already finished. In the court, led by Judge Lucy Koh, Samsung are required to pay $ 1 billion USD to Apple. However, Samsung seems reluctant to be labeled as the guilty manufacturer.

Samsung says that the verdict was not a win for Apple, but a loss for the American consumer and will lead to fewer choices. Samsung’s statement included some pretty strong comments on the patent system and Apple. “It is unfortunate that patent law can be manipulated to give one company a monopoly over rectangles with rounded corners, or technology that is being improved every day by Samsung and other companies,” said Samsung in an official statement.

Samsung said that they would submit to the court for reconsideration of the decision. And, if that fails, a company based in South Korea will be appealed in the court of appeal.

In this dispute, according to the court, Samsung has been proven guilty of violating several patents. Among these is the design of  the iPhone, the rear design of the iPhone, a touchscreen gesture, iconic design and others.
