Samsung today announced another Android phone Galaxy S II Plus supplement as the second generation of the Galaxy series.
As opposed to the classic Galaxy S II, the Plus version has several major upgrade from the software side. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus packs with 4.3 inch WVGA resolution Super AMOLED Plus screen (the so-called WVGA 800 × 480), powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, sports with 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, and 2.0 megapixel front facing camera.
In addition packs with 8GB of onboard storage, this smartphone memory can expandable to 64GB through the microSD slot. The hardware basically consistent with the Galaxy S II, but the camera’s shutter speed has improved, said to 0 delay.
While from the software side, the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean System and Samsung’s own UI Touchwiz Nature UX. Compared to the Galaxy S II which only running Android 2.3 operating system, which may be regarded as the biggest upgrade. As for the price and release date, Samsung has not been announced in a press release.
