Huawei has been held the lauching event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 at Barcelona, the Chinese electronic manufacturer has been unveiled their new Huawei Ascend P2 Android smartphone.
This phone is becoming a rumor for a few months ago, and now we got the exact information about those phone. Powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor, this phone is similar with recent model Huawei Ascend D2, sports with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, but the memory is not expandable.
Huawei Ascend P2 has 8.4mm thickness and packs with 4,7 inch screen with 720p IPS display with 312ppi ratio. This lower than previous rumor that telling about the 1080p display capability. The front-facing screen is covered by Gorilla Glass 2 from Corning.
This phone also has 13 megapipxel camera with 1080p recording capabililty and there is HDR mode. Another form factor is the dedicated camera key, so you can using this phone for capture the nice moment or record your video.
The Huawei Ascend P2 has 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and support for LTE connectivity. While we write this news, the LTE network is compatible with Orang France and Orange network will starting sale this phone on June 2013.
This phone is running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and the interesting point is Huawei embed the Quick Power Control (QPC) and Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) power-saving technologies, which allegedly reduce power consumption and charging time by more than 25% compared to other smartphones.
