MediaTek has not stopped to introduce his products on mobile processor. After launching the octa-core processor MT6592, they are now introducing quad-core processors that use the MT8135 big.LITTLE architecture.
This processor also consists of two ARM Cortex A15 cores and 2 cores ARM Cortex A7. And the processor is also officially based on ARM Cortex A15 chipset. The technology used in the processor chip is the same with Samsung’s Exynos 5 processor. However, this processor chip is intended for Android devices thats offers with very affordable price.
And thanks to the use of the big.LITTLE architecture, the MT8135 processor has battery efficiency. For heavy tasks, this chip will be assigned two Cortex A15 cores. While for light tasks, this chipset will switch to work with two Cortex A7 chipset.
In addition, the processor will be equipped with some additional features such as GPU PowerVR G6200, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and Miracast technology. PowerVR Series 6 GPU is said will have 4 times the graphical capabilities better than the 5 Series.
