KitKat

Android 4.4 or also known as KitKat has been officially announced last September which the platform is expected to be released in the near future.

According to reports, the latest version of this new Google operating system will bring a variety of improvements, it seems is targeted for low-end devices as well as wearable devices like Google’s smartwatch.

Having access to the Android 4.4 feature list, that some improvement allows better memory management make entry-level Android device are capable of running this Android version even with only 512MB of RAM only.

Android 4.4 will also support the new sensor is intended for wearable computing devices such as detector step, step counter and geomagnetic vector rotation, all of which are attractive features for the fitness device.

While for now, the Android 4.4 KitKat is runing on new Google Nexus 5 smartphone that has been release recently.
