Phillips Will Release The Thinnest Smartphone

About two months ago, Phillips released its I928, configured with  a 6-inch, 1080 touch-scrren, true octa-core processor MT6592 and a 13-megapixel camera. According to latest news, Phillips is yet to release the mini variant of I928 with a smaller display.

Word has it that the mini variant will be Phillips I908. Though titled “mini”, I908 will still be configured with a 1.7GHz MT6592 octa-core processor, a 5-cin 1080 touchscreen, 2GB of RAM, along with a 13-megapixel camera.

The Phillips I908 is suggested to be extremely thin – 5.5 mm, even thinner than that of Gionee ELIFE S5.5. We have a feeling that this Phillips I908 will be the thinnest smartphone in the world so far.
