It looks like Tronsmart is working on launching two new TV boxes soon, the Ara IZ37 Dual-OS TV Box and the Draco H3 Dongle, according to posts on the company’s product forums.
The first of the two products, the Ara IZ37 Dual-OS TV Box, is a dual-boot TV box with quick-switch capabilities allowing users to switch between the two operating systems without turning off the device. It’s powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It comes with an HDMI port, an Ethernet jack, a couple of USB ports, and a microSD card slot. It comes with Windows 8.1 with Bing pre-installed.
On the other hand, the second product, the Draco H3 Dongle, is one of the first 4K TV dongles to feature Allwinner’s H3 chip-set. The newer chipset is capable of H.265 and 4K hardware decoding and output and is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU coupled with a Mali400MP2 GPU. Information on the rest of the Draco H3 Dongle’s specifications including RAM and internal storage are currently unavailable but should be available as its release draws near.
Tronsmart has enabled users, through the company’s product forum, to give them suggestions or thoughts on both of its upcoming products including pre-installed apps, retail price, and more.
