Back in April, Lei Jun confirmed that Xiaomi will finally release the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro top-end edition on May 6. This is the company’s most powerful device till date and also the costliest. While customers will finally be able to get their hands of the device in the next few hours, several pictures as well as camera sample of the Mi Note Pro have been leaked online.
We had earlier seen some posters of the upcoming handset and they all looked quite beautiful. Today’s leak further confirms the beautiful gold colored frame as well as a super thin design profile. It definitely looks like a top-end device. The front will be covered by 2.5D glass while the back will have a unique 3D glass. According to the company, this helps to improve aesthetics as well as the overall feel of the device.
As for the tech specs, the phone will feature a 5.7-inch 2K display along with the third generation of Snapdragon 810 (v1.2) chipset. The company claims that this generation improves the performance and the power consumption of the chipset. Other specs include 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, 13MP camera, 4G LTE Cat. 9 connectivity and Hi-fi audio chip.
Overall we expect tremendous response for the new Xiaomi handset. But we hope that the Xiaomi is better prepared than LeTV when the phone goes on sale tomorrow, i.e. on May 6.
