It looks like Meizu is planning to release two smartphones next month with events scheduled on June 2 as well as June 30 to launch the Meizu M1 Note 2 and MX5, respectively. Today, we get to take a look at the Meizu M1 Note 2 as pictures of the upcoming smartphone have been leaked.
From the get go, it looks like Meizu has removed its signature capacitive touch circle Home key from the M1 Note 2 and has replaced it with a physical oblong shaped button which, according to reports, supports fingerprint recognition.
Other than the new Home button, the rest of the M1 Note 2’s design looks very similar to the original M1 Note with its curved-edge colorful shell. For now, based on the leaked pictures, we know that the M1 Note 2 will come in either blue or white but more colors should be available when the device officially launches.
Not much else is currently known about the M1 Note 2 but more information should be either leaked or announced as the official launch on June 2 draws near. It should be expected though that the M1 Note 2 should be an upgrade from its predecessor and will probably launch with a higher price tag.
