DOOGEE has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the DOOGEE F5, which the company designed to differentiate itself from all the other iPhone-looking flagships in the market.
DOOGEE has said that since the launch of the iPhone 6/6 Plus, almost every manufacturer has released a device that copies its design which include its rounded edges and 2.5D arc glass panels. But with the F5, DOOGEE is saying no to copying and yes to being “genuinely yourself” and doing your own thing. So unlike the iPhone 6/6 Plus and its many design copycats, the F5 features square corners, a chamfered edge, and a flat glass panel. According to the company, the F5’s body is made from liquid metal which is more resistant to nicks, scuffs, and scratches.
As for its specifications, the F5 features a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor, an ARM Mali-720 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 4G LTE connectivity. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel Samsung camera with dual LED flash, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, a 3000mAh battery with 5V2A fast charging, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The DOOGEE F5 is available in three different colors and will be priced at only $149.99 which is quite competitive given its impressive specifications. According to the company, the F5 will officially start shipping sometime in September.
