It looks like Huawei is following in Xiaomi’s footsteps and has released a new upgraded version of the Honor 4C which now has double its original storage.
Xiaomi recently released a new version of the Redmi 2A which features double the RAM and storage at 2GB and 16GB, respectively, and now Huawei’s new Honor 4C now also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It looks like 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage is becoming the standard minimum trend for entry-level smartphones.
The rest of the Honor 4C’s specifications remain the same including its 5-inch 720p display, Kirin 620 octa-core processor, 2550mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
As for its price and release date, Huawei announced that it will be available starting September 15 and will announce the price the day before but we can assume that the price should be only a little higher than the current price of the Honor 4C which is 799 Yuan. The enhanced Redmi 2A was priced only 50 Yuan higher than the original and the enhanced Honor 4C might follow the same price increase.
