EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth Speaker Review: UNBOXING
This tiny speaker costs just under $22, which falls into cheap Bluetooth speakers category.
The device comes in a plain box and the contents include a micro USB charging cable, Aux cable (in case you want to connect a non-Bluetooth device), informational leaflet and a nice carrying pouch.
EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth Speaker Review: DESIGN
First of all, the Easy Acc Bluetooth speaker is very compact and lightweight. It sports an omnidirectional speaker grill and on the front side you can find just the Easy Acc logo.
On the back side you can find a microUSB power port, on/off switch and aux input.
The top side is where you can find all the controls, which include volume up/down and play/pause buttons. Also, there is a mic as you can use this speaker as a hands-free loudspeaker with your phone. Lastly, there is a Bluetooth LED light.
On the bottom, there is a silicone pad to prevent the speaker from sliding.
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the built quality and the choice of materials of this speaker. Also, it is really small and compact.
EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth Speaker Review: PAIRING
Pairing is very easy as the speaker enters the paring mode automatically as soon as you turn it on.
EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth Speaker Review: SOUND QUALITY
As far as the sound quality goes, the Easy Acc Bluetooth speaker definitely impressed me as it is loud and has quite a lot of depth in its sound considering the size of this tiny speaker. Also, the level of bass is not bad at all.
One thing I’ve noticed though was that it starts crackling at the highest volume setting when playing certain songs.
The Bluetooth range is good and it is on par with other Bluetooth speakers I’ve tested.
EasyAcc DP100 Bluetooth Speaker Review: CONCLUSIONS
The Easy Acc DP100 Bluetooth speaker has a great design, good built quality and it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It has good sound quality and a decent amount of bass considering the size of it. Also, the control buttons are very clicky and responsive, and the hands-free feature works quite good. As far as the battery life, it is really impressive. Well, I couldn’t get 20 hours of playback as the company declares, but I was able to reach 15 hours, which is a great result for a speaker of this size.
Overall, I don’t see any major shortcomings about this speaker except the fact that it may make some crackling noises on some songs when you play the music at the highest volume setting.
Other than that, for just under $22 it is a great buy.
