Huawei is all set to unveil at least one new device on October 10. Unlike its previous offerings in this year, this particular device will target the low-end market with an affordable price tag. While we are still unsure of the official name of the upcoming device, we expect it to be called as the Huawei Honor 5X Play.

As for the specs, they are quite decent with a quad-core 1.3GHz MT6735 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. There will be a 5-inch touchscreen with 720p resolution. At the back, the phone will feature a 13MP camera with LED flash, while up front, you can expect a 5MP shooter. The highlight of the device will be its super large 4000mAh battery which will make sure that the phone runs throughout the day in a single charge.

The company is said to attract the young generation crowd with its new Honor 5X Play handset. The phone will reportedly come in multiple color options as well. Given its large battery, TENAA reveals that the 5X Play will feature a 9.7mm thick body and will weigh about 159 grams. It will support 4G LTE network as well as dual SIM dual standby. As for the pricing, it is expected that the Play 5X will retail for less than 999 Yuan which comes to around $160. Not bad for an entry level device with a large battery.
