More details on the upcoming Smartisan T2 flagship smartphone have been leaked online through Chinese social media site Weibo by user @MochaRQ.
According to the leak, the T2 will be officially released sometime in November. If this information is accurate, it will confirm that the T2 will not feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which it was previously speculated of using.
User @MochaRQ also revealed that the Smartisan T2 will still feature a 5-inch full HD 1080p display but won’t be equipped with a fingerprint sensor or a dual-camera system. It was also revealed that the T2 may only have a little difference from its predecessor, the Smartisan T1.
If the information leaked today is accurate, it does not bode well for the Smartisan T2 which is one of the most anticipated upcoming devices. But according to @MochaRQ, the T2 seems to have been “refined” so there’s still hope for it. We’ll just have to wait for more leaks or announcements.
