Lenovo sub-brand ZUK has announced a series of press conference around the world to launch the company’s first smartphone and first flagship, the Z1.
The first of ZUK’s international press conferences will be held in Dubai on October 26 which will held in partnership with Comtel, which is the biggest distribute in the Middle East. The CMO of ZUK, Chenjin, will be at the press conference to launch the Z1 international version and reveal more information on the company’s second flagship, the Z2.
The ZUK Z1 international version was previously already released in a number of territories in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Americas.
The ZUK Z1 international version runs Cyanogen OS 12.1 but according to ZUK’s CEO, Changcheng, and co-founder, Alex Chen, Cyanogen OS 13, which will be based on Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, will soon come to the Z1.
As for the specifications of the Z1 international version, it features a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, and a 4100mAh battery. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a USB Type-C port.
