Details on the specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Note 2 Pro flagship smartphone have been leaked online today.
According to the leak, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will be the first device in the company’s Redmi series of devices to feature a full metal body as well as a fingerprint sensor. It will also feature a 5.5-inch display with a 2.5D arc curved glass panel, full 4G LTE band support, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor.
It was also revealed that the Redmi Note 2 Pro will also be available in three variants with different RAM and storage configurations. There will be a 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant as well as 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants. According to the leak, the three variants will be priced at 1099 Yuan, 1299 Yuan, and 1499 Yuan, respectively.
The exact release date of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is still unknown but it is expected to be officially unveiled and released sometime in November especially since the company is targeting to ship 80 million units by the end of the year. The company has currently shipped over 54 million units so they’ll need to ship around 26 million units in this last quarter of the year to achieve their goal.
