It’s only been a few months since OUKITEL released their first smartwatch, the square-faced A28, and the company is already working on releasing their next-generation smartwatch called the A29.
Unlike the A28 with its square face, the new A29 features a round face but still keeps the full steel body and real leather strap. The face of the A29 does receive an upgrade with a new sapphire glass screen with a resolution of 240 x 205 pixels.
The A29 is powered by a MediaTek MTK2502C CPU, 64MB of RAM, 128MB of internal storage, and a 320mAh battery which, according to the company, will give the A29 a battery life of up to 150 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talk time. The battery will also only need 2 hours to fully charge.
The new smartwatch will be compatible with both Android and iOS mobile phones via Bluetooth 4.0 but will also be able to make 2G calls on its own with its micro SIM card slot.
OUKITEL has yet to reveal pricing and availability for the A29 but the company has already published a product page for the new smartwatch on the company’s website. We’re expecting that the new A29 will be released sometime before the year ends.
