Earlier this week, we had reported that Cubot will release its newest flagship, the Cubot X17. Now, the same phone is up for pre-order on the retailer website, Coolicool.com.
The Cubot X17 comes with pretty good specs for its $169.99 price tag. The phone features a compact 5-inch JDI IPS OGS FHD 1080p display and is powered by the MT6735A 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. There will be 3GB of RAM on board along with 16GB of internal storage, further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.
The highlight of the phone is its super slim body, which measures just 6.1mm in thickness. So, if you love thin phones, Cubot X17 turns out to be a great option. The overall dimensions are 143.4 x 69.4 x 6.1mm and it weighs 151 grams. However, because of its thin body, the phone features just 2500mAh battery, which should be just enough for a day’s usage.
At the back, the Cubot X17 features a 16MP camera with dual LED flash, 8MP front facing shooter and dual SIM dual standby support. Like most phones these days, it supports 4G FDD-LTE networks along with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, and GPS connectivity. Finally, for software, you get the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS right out of the box.
The phone will ship with a USB cable, user manual, power adapter and a piece of protective film in the box. The phone retails for $169.99 USD. Orders will start shipping from November 13, 2015.
