Cubot X17: DESIGN

img_5433 img_5434

The very first impressions are that the phone is very well made and it is very thin at just 6.1mm. Also, the materials used in the construction mainly involve metal and it adds that premium look and feel.

The Cubot X17 has a 5″ display and thus it is a compact phone, so you can manage it with one hand.

Although the design looks nice, I immediately recognised that it looks like the vivo X5 Max or Oppo R5. It is not necessarily a bad thing and we’ve seen this done before by other Chinese manufacturers.

Cubot X17: INITIAL IMPRESSIONS

To be honest, I’ve been playing around with the Cubot X17 for a few days already and the thing I like most is the design and build. Also, the phone is really compact and it doesn’t bother me when I am going out as I usually wear skinny jeans.

The phone runs on Android 5.1 out of the box. I’ve installed the usual apps and a few games, and some other apps that I use to test the phones out during the reviews. So far, everything’s running smoothly but I still need a few more days to tell a final opinion.

The full Cubot X17 review is coming out later this week. Stay tuned to Gizmochina.
