The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has officially launched their next smartphone in line Blade A1 carrying a price tag of 599 Yuan ($94 approx). It will be available for purchase starting December 11.
ZTE Blade A1 sports a compact 5.0 inches HD (720p) display and is packing a 64 bit quad core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocking 1.3 GHz under the hood coupled with 2 GB of RAM.
Blade A1 comes with 16 GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 128 GB which is somewhat surprising considering the price tag it comes with. It will be running customized MiFlavor 3.2 OS on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The most interesting thing about Blade A1 is that it uses the same fingerprint sensor that we have seen on ZTE’s flagship device Axon which supports 360-degree unlocking mechanism and unlocks the display in under 0.3 seconds.
Blade A1 comes equipped with 13 MP rear camera with LED flash along with 8 MP front facing camera for capturing perfect selfies and video calling support. It comes with 4G LTE enabled with all usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi etc.
Blade A1 is backed by a 2800 mAh battery which will last more than a day on moderate usage. It will be available in Smart White, Vibrant Yellow, Dream Green, Cool Blue and Space Grey color tones to choose from. It will be available for sale starting December 11 this year.
