The long-rumored next-generation flagship by Smartisan has finally been spotted on the TENAA website showing off some of the upcoming device’s features and specifications.

smartisan-t2-tenaa-leaked-01Looking at the pictures that come with the listing on TENAA, the T2 looks very similar to its predecessor, the T1, with the same front and back glass panels and metal frame. Based on the specifications, the T2 is only slightly wider and longer at 144.55 x 70.84mm compared to its predecessor that measures 141 x 67.74mm but it is also much thinner at only 7.53mm while its predecessor measured 8.23mm thin. The listing also reveals that the T2 will be keeping the same screen size as the T1 at 4.95 inches. Sadly, the T2 also features a smaller 2490mAh battery and loses the dual SIM dual standby support of its predecessor.

smartisan-t2-tenaa-leaked-04As for the rest of its specifications, previous leaks have revealed that the T2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and that it will come with Android 5.1 pre-installed. Lastly, the TENAA listing reveals that the T2 will support all 4G LTE bands.

We still don’t know when the Smartisan T2 will officially be launched or how much it will be priced but now that it’s been listed on TENAA it shouldn’t be long until Smartisan releases its next-generation flagship.

  • This “next-gen flagship” will be a previous-gen midship or budget phone by the time it comes out. Artisan is competing in the technology industry, but they’re acting like they are in the wine business.
