Both phones have 13MP cameras on the back with PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus) systems. That leads to the very fast focusing and capture speeds. However, there are some differences in camera sensors. Letv Le 1s uses the Sony IMX214 sensor we have already seen on lots of Chinese phones while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has a 13MP sensor that is made by Samsung.

Both Letv Le 1s and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 have great cameras and they are definitely one of the best in this price category of the devices. One phone takes better pictures in one situation while the second phone is better at some other situations.
