There were rumors doing the rounds prior to Spring Festival that LeTV ( also known as Le Eco) is planning to announce the next superphone from their lineup which goes by the name of Le 2.
Le 2 is dubbed as second generation superphone and is rumored to be unveiled by the end of February. Now the latest report suggests that the phone might retail at a price close to 1500 Yuan ($228).
Le 2 is purported to feature MediaTek 10 core Helio X20 chipset under the hood. As for other specifications, Le 2 is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch 2K display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 23MP camera, fingerprint sensor and fast charging support.
Le 2 is said to retail at a price of 1500 Yuan ($228) but to be honest, this is a bit too low, even for a Chinese flagship. And as of now, the specifications of this second generation superphone have not been confirmed by any reliable source. So, you better take this news with a pinch of salt.
End of February is not so far and we can expect an official announcement from LeTV (or Le Eco) in coming days which will shed some light on the credibility of these rumored details.
