Xiaomi Mi 5 was released in three variants running Snapdragon 820 chipsets with different clocking speeds. The Xiaomi Mi 5 Standard Edition model priced at 1999 Yuan runs Snapdragon 820 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz whereas the premium versions of Mi 5 priced at 2299 Yuan and 2699 Yuan runs Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15GHz.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 Standard Edition was recently benchmarked by some users and it was found to score above 110K points on Antutu. Meanwhile, on GeekBench’s single core test it scored 1901 and on multi-core test it scored 4707 points. These are pretty impressive scores posted by a device that retails for just around $300.
When compared to high-end models of Mi 5 there is a 20% drop in performance on the Mi 5 Standard Edition which can be credited to under-clocking of the chipset.
