Recently a new smartphone from the Chinese brand ZTE popped up on a benchmarking website under the reference number A2017 and is believed to be the upcoming flagship device, ZTE Axon 2.
This smartphone is packing some serious specs and most of all, it features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
This upcoming smartphone from ZTE runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD display with an amazing resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset clocking 2.1GHz coupled with 4GB RAM. In addition to that, it packs a Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU engine as well.
Axon 2 comes with 64 GB of on-board storage out of which 51GB will be user available. This smartphone features 21MP rear shooter accompanied by an 8MP front shooter. All the usual connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC are present on this device.
From the specifications, this smartphone looks to be a real deal and most likely challenges the current flagship models. As of now there has been no confirmation from ZTE regarding the existence of this smartphone. But more details are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
