Vivo X6S was first spotted on TENNA certification website back in February but after that nothing was heard about this smartphone. Now Vivo X6S is back in the news with the latest information confirming that it will be packing a Snapdragon 652 chipset under the hood. Vivo has posted a teaser which hints the arrival of Vivo X6S.
So, Vivo X6 series is almost confirmed and initially we can expect two phones by the name of Vivo X6S and Vivo X6S Plus.
Vivo X6S is expected to be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, featuring a compact 5.2-inch 1080p display and powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset clocking 1.8GHz. Previously it was reported that this smartphone will be packing a MediaTek chipset clocking 1.7GHz but it seems like Vivo decided to go for Snapdragon 652. You will get 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It will feature 13MP rear camera along with 8MP front facing camera. A 2400mAh battery will be fueling this smartphone.
The Andriod version, Chipset, RAM and internal storage on vivo X6S Plus remains same as that of Vivo X6S. Some features are bumped up. It will feature a bigger 5.7-inch 1080p display. It will come equipped with 16MP rear camera along with 8MP front facing shooter. In addition to that, a large 4000mAh battery will be providing juice to this smartphone.
As of now we are awaiting an official announcement from the Chinese brand concerning the release date and price for these smartphones.
