After successfully unveiling its flagship device for the year 2016, Huawei P9 the Chinese tech giant has launched two new smartphones in its Y-Series of smartphones. The new smartphones go by the name of Huawei Y3 II and Huawei Y5 II. Both these smartphones are going to have two network variants – 3G and 4G. Huawei Y3 II 3G variant is rumored to be priced around 299/ 399 Yuan ($46/ $61) and the 4G variant is rumored to be priced around 399/ 499 Yuan ($61 / $77). The rumored prices of Huawei Y5 II variants are still unknown.
Huawei Y3 II and Huawei Y5 II run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 out of the box.
Huawei y3 II features a smaller 4.5-inch display with a display resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The 3G variant of Huawei Y3 II is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset clocking 1GHz whereas the 4G variant is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset clocking 1GHz. You will get 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage on this smartphone.
Huawei Y3 II features a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera. It comes with all the usual connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and GPS. This smartphone will be backed by a 2100mAh battery.
Moving on to the Huawei Y5 II, this smartphone features a 5-inch HD display. The 3G variant of Huawei Y5 II is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset whereas the 4G variant is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735P chipset. Rest of the specifications of this smartphone are identical to Huawei Y3 II.
To make it more appealing to the budget consumers Huawei will launch both Y3 II and Y5 II in wide range of colors including Arctic White, Sand Gold, Rose Pink, Sky Blue and Obsidian Black.
