Oukitel K6000 Premium with 6GB RAM & 6000mAh battery Coming Soon

by Dimitris Economou 5

Although a small company for the time being, the China-base Oukitel has delivered some devices with the highest battery capacity in the market. Devices like Oukitel K4000, K6000 and K10000 which sport 4,000mAh, 6,000mAh and 10,000mAh batteries respectively. All these devices, had mid to low-end specs in order to achieve a low price along with increased battery life.

A short while after, Oukitel launched a slightly upgraded edition of these three models, the K4000 Pro and K6000 Pro with somewhat upgraded specs and slight differences in overall design. So, it seems that now it is time for Oukitel to launch a really high-end device.

Sources claim that the K6000 Premium will sport 6GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Curved glass back is another probability as well as 13MP camera sensor for both rear and front cameras. The rear sensor will be the Sony IMX258 but no info for the front.

In addition to the mentioned specs, this smartphone is also expected to sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, and its internal storage will be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. Of course, the phone will also pack in a 6,000mAh battery which will not be removable, and the device will be fueled by the successful MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor. All other goodies will be on board as well, such as dual SIM, LTE connectivity, Mediatek’s fast charging technology and a fingerprint sensor along with Android 6 Marshmallow.

Below you can see some pre-production images of the device, but keep in mind that the design may change a bit until the official version gets released.

This is cool to see, a big battery phone with decent hardware. I have a feeling this will sell well, if priced decently.

Sounds like a fantastic phone on paper. I am only a little bit concerned on the build quality, ROM and Oukitel support. Can anyone give me any insight on whether these are good?

Spec-wise, the only one which I don’t like is the SoC (why not Helio X10!) but other than that, all specs are fantastic.

Is it that you prefer slower and older processors or what?
Cos the X20 is way batter

  • Karly Johnston

    X20 only supports 4GB RAM.
