Recently, LeEco announced the LeEco Le2, a high performance – low cost device and it immediately become available for purchase so we did not expect its upgrade to come so quickly. A model codenamed X502 showed up at the TENAA website and considering the fact that the Le1s had model name X501, it is safe to assume that this is the upcoming LeEco Le2s.
The X502 keeps the borderless design and the symmetrical three-section on the back although the top section where the antenna is hosted is narrower. It comes in gold and silver colors and the camera has moved to the top left corner while the fingerprint sensor remains in the middle.
the device comes with a 5.5″ FHD display panel with the dimensions being exactly the same as the Le2 at 151.1×74.2×7.5mm but it’s a bit heavier at 169gr.
The top and bottom of the device aren’t visible but it is almost certain that the 3.5mm jack is still absent and sound comes only through the USB Type-C port.
Storage and RAM are the same at 3GB/32GB as well as the battery at 3,000mAh. The rear camera is downgraded to 13MP (although it may be a better sensor) and the front is 5MP. The SoC features eight cores at 1.9GHz but with fewer LTE bands. It is speculated that it is the Exynos 8870.
