OnePlus yesterday rolled out the software update OxygenOS 3.2.0 for its newly launched flagship device OnePlus 3. OnePlus has planned to complete the update rollout within 48 hours but the update has been pulled back. According to OnePlus, many users reported issues while updating their phones.
OxygenOS 3.2.0 was rolled out to fix the poor RAM management on OnePlus 3 which was widely reported by users and reviewers alike. In addition to that, the update brought performance optimizations as well as fixes to audio playback quality, camera quality, clock, and gallery app as well. OnePlus was quick enough to pull back the update citing user complaints. OnePlus has not revealed the severity and other details of issues.
OnePlus 3 is a fierce competitor among flagship devices of 2016 with impressive hardware but it seems like users have to bear with RAM allocation issues for some time as OnePlus will soon be releasing another update fixing the problem once and for all.
