It appears like Xiaomi is on a smartphone launching spree as the Chinese brand is unveiling phone after phone almost every month. Yesterday, we reported that a new smartphone from Xiaomi has popped up on benchmarking website Geekbench which you can check here. The new device from Xiaomi is purported to feature a MediaTek MT6795T chipset i.e. Helio X25 .
Now, two new devices from Xiaomi under the reference numbers 2,016,020 and 2,016,021 have surfaced on certification website TENNA which reveals new information about these devices. It is purported that the new devices could be the variants of the Xiaomi smartphone that we reported about yesterday with the deca-core chip.
If this is true, then Xiaomi is preparing to take on Meizu MX6 with not just one, but two devices. These devices come with entire network support and dual sim connectivity. It is interesting to note that the new model also comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB native storage.
While TENAA hasn’t revealed any pictures of these devices, a couple of days back, we had seen a leaked Redmi model, probably the Redmi Note 4 with dual cameras on board. So, it could be possible that this 4GB + 128GB memory model that we saw on TENAA today is also of the Redmi Note 4.
Further, it is revealed that the above mentioned devices will come with the same 5V/2A charger found on Xiaomi’s Redmi models. Reports of the presence of a fingerprint sensor , dual camera setup are also rife.
With so many information circulating about this new Redmi device, we can hope for an announcement sometime in the coming weeks.
