Chuwi Vi10 Plus Launched, Price Starts From $169

Chuwi, a brand synonymous with value for money smartphones and affordable tablets has announced the launch of another 2-in-1 tablet that brand calls Chuwi Vi10 Plus. Chuwi in the past has also launched 2-in-1 tablets most notably Chuwi Hi12. That being said the new Chuwi Vi10 Plus will be available in two different memory variants and the price of this tablet starts from $169 which comes to around 1130 Yuan.

Chuwi Vi10 Plus features a 10.8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The display is very bright with 450nits of brightness. As far as looks are concerned, this tablet looks quite premium and slim. It is powered by an Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 CPU aided by Intel HD Graphics Generation 8 GPU.

Chuwi Vi10 Plus will be available in two different memory versions for which details are given below.

  • 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, pre-installed with Remix OS 2.0 , priced at – $169 (1130 Yuan).
  • 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, Support dual OS- Windows 10 and Remix 2.0 OS, priced at – $239 ( 1600 Yuan)

So, it is clear that the base model of this tablet does not support dual OS which is a little bit disappointing. If you want to enjoy dual OS feature then you have shell out little more. A 2MP sensor is present at the rear as well as on the front of this tablet. Chuwi has equipped this tablet with USB 3.0 Type-C port. An 8400mAh battery is fueling this tablet and it comes with 5V/ 2A quick charging support.

  • I would’ve gone for one. If the higher-end model had RemixOS only at a cheaper price (for me RemixOS bridges the gap between Android’s fun intuitive multimedia approach to things and the productivity of getting things done with Windows as well as the desktop experience… so I wouldn’t need a dualboot with Windows, just RemixOS) ánd if it had a hinging keyboard like the Hi10. I’m fed up with these origami-style keyboards. Might even want to consider that Superbook on Kickstarter running Andromium from your smartphone instead…
