Meizu is expected to release the Meizu E smartphone on August 10 and ahead of the launch, more image renders and details have surfaced online via Chinese social networking site, Weibo. All we know about the smartphone, apart from those officially released by Meizu, originated from Weibo and we are still being served more juicy details from the popular microblogging platform.

A Weibo user has exposed the first image render of what is said to be the paper box casing for the Meizu E with just a simple inscription, “Blue Charm E” printed on it.

Also, the AnTuTu score of the Meizu E which will likely adopt the monicker M1 E has been exposed. The leaked data details the device to pop with an Octa-core 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M chipset with Mali-T860 GPU. The device is also shown to feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 13MP main camera. The device will also run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

In addition, the Meizu M1 E was rumored to sport a 5.5-inch display and the AnTuTu benchmark data has revealed that the phone’s display will have a resolution of 1080 x 1920pixels.

Apart from the black colored variant of the Meizu M1 E, we also saw a render of the silver colored variant of the M1 E and quite honestly, the smartphone looks more or less like a replica of the MX6 flagship launched not long ago.
