Umi Max has been in the news for past couple of months and recently, Umi showcased this smartphone at IFA 2016 in Berlin. Umi has been heavily promoting this smartphone throughout the year and according to the brand, this smartphone can take on iPhone 6S in terms of battery and certain other features. Umi posted a video recently highlighting the features of this smartphone again and you can watch the video below.
You all are aware of the hardware and software specifications of this smartphone from Umi as we have covered that many times earlier. As a reminder, Umi Max features a 5.5-inch 2.5D display from SHARP and is powered by a Helio P10 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. The rest of the features include a fingerprint sensor, 13MP rear camera, USB Type-C and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But the main highlight of this smartphone is the 4000mAh battery of which the brand is reminding us again and again.
Once again Umi has touted the 4000mAh battery on this smartphone releasing a battery test results in which Umi Max was pitted against iPhone 6S. Seems like Umi is hell bent on making Umi Max much better than iPhone 6S at any cost. You can see the battery test results below. Both the smartphone were subjected to a series of activities which we normally do on our phones and the results are as follows:
- Chatting – 15 minutes
- Shooting Photos – 15 minutes
- Reading E-books – 30 minutes
- Playing games – 30 minutes
- Internet browsing – 30 minutes
- Videos – 30 minutes
- Phone calls – 30 minutes
- Twitter – 60 minutes
- Music – 60 minutes
After performing all the above-mentioned activities, Umi Max had 50% charge left while iPhone 6S had only 35% charge left. From the battery test results above, Umi is trying really hard to convince the masses that Umi Max performs better and lasts longer than an iPhone.
