Vernee Mars runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and will be flaunting a 5.5-inch 1080p in-cell display. It will be powered by a MediaTek MT6755, Helio P10 chipset aided by 4GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage space. Further, it will be equipped with 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. It will be fueled by a 3000mAh battery. Rest of the features of this device are not revealed yet.

As for Vernee Mars Pro, nothing much is revealed by the brand other than the presence of 6GB RAM onboard and Helio P20 chipset powering this smartphone. That being said, Vernee is going to take on iPhone 7 with the launch of these models and they do have some similarities as well. These similarities exist in the arc antenna band design on Vernee Mars which is similar to iPhone 7. Further, the back cover on Vernee Mars makes use of the same anodizing process used on iPhone 7.

    Well, that’s at least, disappointing

  • AlexandrosK

At less price than Mars you can get Apollo lite with X20. If Mars had P20/X20 and Mars pro X20/X25 then yeah that would of been great but now its just mehh.

    • Mr.Flying Zoom3rz

Just make the Mars Pro with SD820 priced @$400. Best deal.

  • Wolvie

Very disappointing spec with even more disappointing prices.

$250 for a p10 chipset? That’s crazy. How are they justifying this?

this company is making me confuse

for example the vernee thor is great, the vernee appolo it have virtual buttons, why?!?!?!?!

      • goodwill

Even with the $50 voucher at $200, it’s still expensive for a Helio P10 chipset. I can get a phone with a Helio X20/25 at that price.

  • Yeah, there’s enough competition on the same hardware level with possibly sexier designs and atleast more attractively priced… not sure about that one. I like Vernee, but that just doesn’t fly. They need a proper flagship that’s kind of the ZTE Nubia Z11, but with front or side fingerprint ID and rear dual camera.

I agree. I’m actually looking forward to Vernee. But with these kinda specs and prices, there are better alternatives out there

    • johala02

Vernee Mars vill have a fingerprint sensor on the side.

  • johala02

According to Vernees Facebook page the “flagship” Apollo are close to a release to.
Maybe a better and more interesting option.

Their helio x25 flagship is a lil too late if you ask em tho. So many better helio x25 alternatives now. Xiaomi and etc

I’d deliberately not purchased a new phone awaiting Vernee’s MARS announcement. I think, like many others, we all wanted Vernee to be another quality, successful and viable alternative to some of the other quality Chinese phone manufacturers. Well, this really is a poor follow up from Vernee after their Apollo lite. I am disappointed by the “basic” MARS specs and even more so when I see what Vernee think they can sell the phone for. So for me, thanks but no thanks; I will buy the Xiaomi Redmi Pro instead.

Why I would pay $350 for P20/6GB when I can get: SD820/6GB for:
    -$360(LeMax 2)
    -$430(ZUK Z2 Pro)
    -$450(OnePlus 3)
    X20/4GB for:
    -$210(Le 2 Pro X620)
    -$260(Meizu MX6)
    X20/3GB for:
    -$170(Le 2 X620)
    -$220(Redmi Note 4)
    or even
    SD821/6GB for:
    -$470(Mi Note 2)
