Meizu announced the Meizu M5 a couple of days back. It is the newest member to join Meizu’s ‘M’ series of smartphones. The Meizu M5 will be available in two different storage variants and the pricing starts from 699 Yuan ($103). It will be available in five different color options including – Snow White, Mint Green, Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue and Matte Black. Now, the company reveals that the Meizu M5 has received over 4.3 million registrations in first 24 hours.
Meizu M2 boasts of a 5.2-inch 720p display fitted perfectly in a polycarbonate body. It will be available in two memory variants- 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM priced at 699 Yuan ($103) and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM priced at 899 Yuan ($133). It runs on YunOS and under the hood there is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 chipset.
A fingerprint sensor is also thrown in the mix by Meizu. In terms of optics, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and PDAF, and a 5MP sensor up front. A 3070mAh battery is fueling it which provides 66 hours of music playback time.
The phone will be hitting the shelves on November 7, starting 10:00 AM via Meizu Mall, Suning, and Tmall and then again on November 11 — the grand sale day.
