It’s been a while since we heard news or rumors about a new Bluboo device. The last one was Bluboo Maya Max, almost 4 months back. But today, we have information about not one, but two new devices. Their names are Bluboo Edge and Bluboo Dual. And, as their name suggests, the first one is about an edged-display device (much like Galaxy S7) and the second a dual-lens camera one.
We have no other info for the Dual for now. But we do have detailed specs about the Bluboo Edge. To start with the internals, the device will feature an MT6737 1.3GHz quad core SoC with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will probably be a pretty affordable device. The battery capacity will be 2.600mAh, an average capacity for today’s standards. But if we look at the display, the battery performance may be above average after all.
The display is a standard 5.5″ HD panel from AU Optronics with a durable, dual-layer touch panel that is usable even with wet hands or gloves. Considering the fact that the resolution is just HD, battery life has to be good enough. On the camera department, we have an 8MP (13MP interpolated) Sony IMX219 sensor for the rear camera with LED Flash. The front is a 5MP camera (8MP via interpolation). Of course, it is dual-SIM with LTE support and you can add up to 256GB more to the storage via microSD.
