After releasing its first deca-core device, the Apollo Lite, Vernee finally brought to the market its new flagship device: The Vernee Apollo (powered by deca-core Helio X25 CPU). This model is branded as the first MTK VR smartphone.
And MTK, as a strong competitor to Qualcomm, brought 2 deca-core flagship products this year – Helio X20 / X25. Both chipsets are very popular among the renowned brands, which launch their deca-core models one after another. For example, Meizu Pro 6/6S, LeEco Le 2 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Pro.
Vernee Apollo comes with a 5.5″ 2K (2560×1440) display, Helio X25, 21.0MP SONY IMX230 rear camera with PDAF support and 8.0MP wide angle (84°) front camera. Besides, it also features 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 3180mAh Li-polymer battery with quick charge support. Just 30′ are enough for a 0-50% charge. What’s more, Vernee Apollo comes with a handy package which can double as a VR box.
Besides the powerful hardware, Vernee Apollo also sports all new industrial design. According to the company, it epitomizes the pursuit of superb metal feeling and wonderful visual effects. Also, it features an ergonomic arc body with 98% metal coverage, advanced CNC technology, and sand blasting surface treatment.
