Back on November 4, Chuwi had posted a tweet that they are working on a new 2-in-1 tablet with a display similar to Microsoft Surface Book. That is a 13.5″ display with a super high resolution of 3000×2000 (3:2 screen ratio). Now, further information have arrived with more details about the tablet’s specs. The device was present at the CES 2017.

Chuwi Hi13 main specs
1. 13.5 inch 3000 x 2000 resolution 3:2 ratio screen
2. Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 CPU + Gen9 Graphics 500 GPU

As you can see, Chuwi is done with the Zxxxx Series from Intel and has adopted the new Apollo Lake platform that offers much more processing power. Below, you can see a small comparison chart between the Hi13 and Surface Book.
|Screen size:||13.5 inch||13.5 inch|
|Resolution:||3000 x 2000||3000 x 2000|
|Pixel density (PPI):||267||267|

Apollo Lake Platform (N3450) Vs Cherry Trail Platform (X5-Z8300)
Compared to Cherry Trail Platform, Apollo Lake CPU performance is improved by 50% and GPU performance is improved by 70%. (Data source: Intel)
|Celeron N3450||Atom x5-Z8300|
|Platform：||Apollo Lake||Cherry Trail|
|Lithography:||14 nm||14 nm|
|Turbo CPU Frequency:||2.20 GHz||1.84 GHz|
|Embedded GPU:||Intel HD Graphics 500||Intel HD Graphics|
|Turbo GPU Frequency:||700 MHz||500 MHz|
Its price is yet to be announced, but our guess is that it will be more expensive than previous generation tablets, mostly because of the higher price of the CPU (see the chart above).
