HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 back in May but many fans have been left disappointed since the launch was only limited to China. Given the feedback by the brand’s fans, HMD Global has decided to bring the new mid-ranger in the global market. A few days after the official launch in China, Juho Sarvikas has published a post on Twitter in which he implicitly confirmed the arrival of the handset even in the global market.

Recently, we learned that the Nokia X6 will be released in Europe with another name: Nokia 6.1 Plus. Thanks to a recent leak, we also know that the launch event will be held on July 19. Now, Nokia 6.1 Plus has been spotted on Geekbench with exactly the same hardware side as the X6, definitely confirming its imminent global launch. According to the known benchmarking platform, the device features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset clocked at 1.61 GHz, but we know that its max frequency is 1.8 GHz.

The SoC is paired with 4 GB of RAM and the operating system installed is Android 8.1 Oreo. The last info surfaced in benchmarks is the score obtained by the handset: 1332 points in single-core and 4903 points in multi-core. Among the other specs there will also be a notched display and dual rear cameras.
