Realme will launch a more powerful version of its Realme 2 smartphone in a week. The phone which is named Realme 2 Pro appeared in a YouTube video yesterday that featured the company’s CEO who disclosed some of its specs. A new info has surfaced online which reveals new details.

Realme 2 Pro 8GB RAM

The info comes as a live photo of the Realme 2 Pro and it shows the phone powered on with the “About Phone” section visible. Once again we see the waterdrop notch which houses the front camera.

The “About Phone” section confirms the phone is indeed powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 mobile platform but shows this particular variant has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will also be a 6GB RAM variant. The Realme 2 Pro will also run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

There are other photos too. One shows the phone running popular app AIDA64 which also confirms the RAM and storage as 8GB and 128GB respectively while the other shows the blue variant we saw with the CEO along with its retail box.

The Realme 2 Pro will come with dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. We still don’t know the screen size, the camera configuration, and the battery capacity but that should be public knowledge by the time the phone launches next week.
