The Xperia 2 is tipped to feature a triple camera setup. However, the exact configurations of the three camera sensors are not known yet. Probably, one of the them could be a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. There is no information on the other specifications of the Xperia 2. The above leaks reveal that it borrows most of its specs from the Xperia 1 smartphone. The only major difference between the two phones seems to be that the Xperia 2 could be coming with a smaller and inferior display, weaker camera specs and a lower capacity battery.

Sony is known of using IFA tech trade show event for announcing its new phones. Hence, it is speculated that the Xperia 2 will be debuting in September this year through the IFA 2019 event. The Xperia 1 carries a price tag of $999 in the U.S. Hence, the Xperia 2 could be priced around $799.
