HMD Global has scheduled a launch event in India on 6th June. While the company has not revealed which device is planned to launch on that day, reports indicate that the Finnish company is all set to launch the Nokia 6.2 smartphone.

If this turns out to be true, then the Nokia 6.2 could be the first smartphone from the company in the Indian market to come with a punch-hole display. For those who are unaware, the Nokia 6.2 is expected to be the rebranded version of the Nokia X71 that was launched in China in April.

The Nokia X71 features a ZEISS-certified 48-megapixel primary camera sensor at the rear with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 120-degree super-wide angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor at the back as well.

For taking selfies, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16-megapixel shooter that has an aperture of f/2.0. The device is running the stock version of Android 9 Pie operating system and is powered by a 3,500mAh battery.

As per the reports, the Nokia 6.2 could be priced around Rs. 18,999 (approximately $275) for the base model, which is similar to the pricing of Nokia 6.1. When launched, the Nokia 6.1 was priced at Rs. 16,999 in India.

Along with the Nokia 6.2, the company could also launch its flagship smartphone in the Indian market at the same event — Nokia 9 PureView, which has gained attention for its camera setup that features five rear camera sensors.
