Huawei is expected to unleash the Mate 30 series of flagship phones in the latter half of the September month. Couple of leaked shots of the front panel of the purported Huawei Mate 30 Pro and the actual device have appeared in the recent past to reveal its display design. Two new photos of the same phone seem to have appeared today to reveal its front and rear design.

Just like the real image of the Mate 30 that had appeared in the previous week, the new image shows the handset enclosed in a case to conceal its identity. Hence, it is not clear whether the phone shown in the images belong to the Huawei Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro.

A closer look at the display of the phone shows its pronounced curvature towards its edges. A recent leak had revealed that the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will both arrive with dual-edge curved displays. However, the Mate 30 Pro will have a curvier screen than the Mate 30.  Probably, the handset shown in the new images could be the Mate 30 Pro. A closer look at the top portion of the screen reveals the presence of a wide notch that could be housing all kinds of sensors for 3D face unlock, front camera and so on.

Shown below is the first real shot of the rear side of the purported Mate 30 Pro’s back panel. The rear cameras are completely hidden by the case, but a long LED strip along some other sensors seems to be present alongside it. It matches with the below shown case renders of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

The recently spotted Mate 30 Pro case renders had revealed that the phone will come equipped with a round-shaped camera module with three lenses and a square-shaped LED flash inside it. However, the long strip does not seem to appear like LED flash. It also suggested that the phone will continue to sport an in-screen fingerprint reader.

In terms of specs, the rumor mill has so far revealed that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be housing a 6.71-inch display with quad HD+ resolution support. The 7nm Kirin 990 chipset that is slated to go official at IFA 2019 tech trade show next month could be fueling the smartphone with up to 12 GB of RAM. The handset could be equipped with a 4,200mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging and fast wireless charging. For photography, the phone could be featuring a pair of 40-megapixel sensors on its rear. Huawei is expected to unleash the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro on Sept. 19. Hopefully, the company may also unveil the massive Mate 30 X as the successor of Mate 20 X. As of this writing, there is no proof on its existence.
