Yesterday, Redmi confirmed that it has delisted the Redmi K20 Pro. The company is now gearing up to build hype around its successor, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G. Today, the company took to Weibo to share the first official teaser of the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone. It reveals that the phone will be announced in March with a notch-less display.

Past reports have claimed that the forthcoming Redmi K30 Pro will continue to sport a notch-less display and a pop-up selfie snapper like the Redmi K20 Pro. The official teaser image that was rolled out today shows the phone flaunting a notch-less display with a slim bezel at the top that houses an earpiece.

The right edge of the Redmi K30 Pro has a volume rocker and a power key. The phone could be housing a notch-less OLED display that could be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The frontside of the Redmi K30 Pro differs a lot from the Redmi K30 5G phone that a punch-hole LCD display and a side-facing fingerprint reader.

While the rear design of the Redmi K30 Pro is still a mystery, a leaked render that is now doing rounds on social platforms state that the phone will be arriving with a rear design similar to the Redmi K30. The leaked render reveals that the rear shell of the Redmi K30 Pro 5G has a round-shaped design in which a vertical triple camera system is placed. A fourth lens can be seen outside the circular design. The render also suggests that the pop-up camera system of the Redmi K30 Pro will include two cameras.

Rumors surrounding the Redmi K30 Pro 5G could be sporting a 6.6-inch display. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be fueling the smartphone. The phone will come with LPDDR5 RAM and it may ship with up to 256 GB of native storage. The primary lens in the quad camera setup of the Redmi K30 Pro could be the Sony IMX686 64-megapixel lens. The handset may draw power from a 4,700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
