A recent leak has revealed certain interesting features which the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will arrive with. The popular smart wearables will be the latest entry in its Mi Band series and have been jointly developed by Huami and Xiaomi.

Xiaomi

The Mi Band 5’s announcement is expected to be just around the corner. However, it seems a few of its features and faces have already been leaked. Looking at the images that have surfaced online, we can observe that certain practical functionalities are being added to the Mi Band 5 along with activity trackers. The wearables will reportedly support camera controls, which is likely in the form of taking images videos and more.

Xiaomi

Leaked images also depict various activity tracking modes like running, cycling, skipping, swimming, and more. Furthermore, certain new modes include yoga and indoor cycling as well. In other words, a total of 11 different activity tracking modes will be available. The leak also reveals the new faces on the 1.2 inch display (an increase from last gen’s .095 inch).

Xiaomi

These include new analog clock faces and a single button built into the display. Other leaked specs include NFC support for connectivity, Amazon Alexa smart voice assistant, and a confirmed overseas model for the global market.
