Exactly a week after the AnTuTu result of the Snapdragon 865 Plus was published, the upcoming flagship processor has now made its way to Geekbench to show us how powerful it is.
The Geekbench result shows the chipset inside an ASUS phone benchmarked as the “asus ZF”. The device scored 973 points in the single-core test and 3346 points in the multi-core test.
When compared to the benchmark result of a Snapdragon 865-powered phone such as the Galaxy S20+ 5G, we can see the major improvement is in the single-core score.
The ASUS device is shown to have 16GB of RAM and runs Android 10. The identity of the phone is unknown but there is a possibility it is the upcoming ROG Phone 3. The ROG Phone 3 may be the first Snapdragon 865 Plus phone to hit the market. It has already been certified by China’s TENAA.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 Plus will have a clockspeed of 3.1GHz. This is the clockspeed of the prime core. The other CPU cores have the same clockspeed as those of the Snapdragon 865.
