Motorola unveiled the Moto G50 5G in August this year in the Australian market. Now, the company is planning to launch its successor as a device named Motorola G51 5G has just appeared on the Geekbench portal. The listing reveals key specs of the device and confirms its existence.

According to the listing, the Motorola Moto G51 5G runs on Android 11 out of the box. The smartphone scores 543 single-core points and 1675 multi-core points on the Geekbench 5 portal. These scores are possible due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. We expect this to be the base variant of the smartphone it may also come with a higher 6GB of RAM option. It is also expected to have multiple storage configurations.

Apart from this listing, the device is rumoured to launch soon this year and it may come with some upgrades over the predecessor Moto G50. The Moto G50 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

It has a triple camera system with a 48MP main, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage. It runs on Android 11 out of the box.
